Job Description

The Board of Adjustment will hear and decide:

• Variances of the Saunders County Zoning Regulations
• Appeals where it is alleged by the appellant that there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or refusal
  made by an administrative official or agency
• Interpretation of the Zoning Map or Regulations.
  

The Board of Adjustment meets approximately 1-3 times per year, or as needed. The term is three years, and pays $15 per meeting, plus mileage. This position is to be an “alternate” on the Board of Adjustment, meaning that the candidate would attend a Board of Adjustment meeting when one of the 5 members were absent.
